1. You first need to launch the Notebook application and identify whether you are comfortable using the landscape of the portrait keyboards. If you are thinking about using the portrait mode you need to bear in mind that it is less functional and its size can be too small for the thumb. While the landscape mode offers larger keyboard and is more comfortable to use.
2. Once you use the landscape mode you will see a list of your notes and a writing pad. You will see larger keyboards and you can begin writing words or a sentence by simply tapping the letters on the screen.
3. While you are tapping letters to write a sentence you will see words in the screen that are suggested by the device. If you want to use the suggested word just hit the space bar and if not just tap the small letter x located next to the word to make it disappear. So if you misspell a word just type the space bar to correct it.
4. If you are using word contractions like “it’s” or “they’re” you don’t have to hit the apostrophe as it will automatically display the word with the apostrophe once you hit the space bar. If for example the device fails to provide corrections, just do it yourself and the correct spelling will actually show up in the next suggestion.
5. In copying and pasting words just highlight the word by double-tapping it until the pop-up menu shows up with the cutting or copying option. Just select cut if you want to cut, go to the spot where you want to place the word , tap and then choose paste. If you are copying and pasting a sentence just triple tap to highlight the sentence.
